Medicare Claims and Medicaid Liens: Full Resolution Process………...…………Fee $1,800
- Evaluate case and establish dialogue with the respective tort recovery department and submit formal lien inquiry
- Audit and analyze all reimbursement claims to determine accuracy and carve out items unrelated to injury/settlement
- Review and settle all relevant claims to minimize the lien obligation (date of injury - date of settlement)
- Secure final payment demand from Medicare and/or Medicaid agencies and provide reimbursement instructions to your firm
- Regular status updates on your case
- Includes: all waivers and compromises (if applicable) to ensure the best recovery for your client
Private Health Insurance / ERISA Liens: Full Resolution Process…………..Fee $2,500*
- Determine the applicable law (ERISA, FEHBA, federal, and/or state)
- Evaluate the strength of the lien holder’s right of recovery (based on plan language and applicable law)
- Establish the case with the respective tort recovery contractor and submit formal lien inquiry
- Provide an opinion letter stating our findings on lien holder’s interest and recommending course of action*
- Audit all claims submitted for repayment to determine whether they are related to the injury and settlement
- Review and negotiate all relevant claims to minimize the lien obligation (date of injury - date of settlement)
- Obtain the final reimbursement amount from all interested parties and provide instructions to your firm
- Regular status updates on your case
* Fee is per case regardless of size. If only an opinion letter is desired the fee is reduced to $1,000
Medicare Set Asides: Work Comp & Liability…………………………………...….Fee $3,650**
- Evaluate case and determine the need for a set aside allocation for future medicals related to injury
- Review and analyze medical & indemnity payouts and provider reports (including any life care plans)
- Provide complete audit and resolution of all claims and liens
- Obtain CMS approval of set aside**
- Assist with initial coordination of custodial needs
** Fee is per case regardless of size. If CMS approval is not required the fee is reduced to $2,650
